This is my first attempt at gouache. I remember being so frustrated that the paint kept picking back up and blending every time I went over it. Then I learned about acryla-gouache and every single one of my creative issues were solved for the rest of my life. I do not have patience for paint that doesn’t dry almost instantly. Maybe I will try regular gouache again someday.

Update 2025: There’s just a learning curve and I have returned to regular gouache.
